Dear Friends,

I wanted to share with all of you an amazing event that I produced called Big Break Hollywood in Atlanta. When first discussed with my partners, I was concerned about producing any event that would look like a scam - you know, those where there are thousands of actors, hoping to be discovered. Big Break Hollywood was exactly what I hoped it would be: an educational event with a phenomenal industry panel that I was fortunate to be a part of:

Neil Bagg - Talent Agent of Don Buchwald & Associates
Glenn Hughes - Talent Manager of Gem Entertainment Group
Fern Champion - Legendary Casting Director (discovered Cameron Diaz)
Julie Fulop - Pop youth commercial agent KSA agency
Vince Cirrincione - Producer/Manager (represents Halle Berry)
Carol Goldwasser - Casting Director for ÒHannah MontanaÓ
Lar Park Lincoln - Actress/Author/Coach
Alpha Tyler - Casting Director for Tyler Perry

This panel was rich with so much expertise. I learned so much from each one of them.

I was also fortunate to have two fabulous teachers fly out to Atlanta: Tess Skorczewski from my studio and Marc Durso from Florida. The learning was outstanding.

Two hundred actors auditioned for these industry guests and 12 finalists were chosen. Out of them, we chose 3 actors (child, teenager, and adult) to come to Hollywood, get a year contract with an agent, commercial agent, and manager, as well as the opportunity to study at my studio for 2 weeks. It was a great time for all. My 98-year-old mother came from Florida. She was truly the star of the show! She even was asked to sign my book! I am grateful to everyone who participated and a special thanks to Della Cole and Bob Harter from Atlanta for their partnership as well as Glenn Hughes and Neil Bagg for their participation. I am so happy it was a successful educational event for all.
